Seeing Our Plays
Does the theatre have a dress code? What is the typical attire?
While the JCCT does not have an official dress code, most patrons opt to wear business casual attire. The JCCT does, however, adhere to a strict no shirt, no shoes, no show policy. Note that all of our facilities are air conditioned/heated for your comfort — please dress appropriately.
How can I know if a particular show will be appropriate for my child or teen?
Generally we produce shows that are more less traditional. There are some shows that are family friendly. We will make our very best effort to inform you before, but you can also contact our box office or email [email protected].
What if I lose something in the theatre, where is the lost and found?
Personal items found in the theatre are kept in the office for 24 to 48 hours. Please contact the box office at [email protected] for assistance.
Where should I park?
While JCCT does have a small parking lot, we fill it very quickly on some shows. Please pay attention to all parking signs and our parking attendants to get you the best possible parking spot.
Can I use my phone/tablet/laptop during a performance?
No — using devices with screens (and particularly ones that also make sounds) disrupts the cast and other patrons (they are very visible from the stage). The best thing to do in order to avoid distracting others is to make sure your device is powered off before entering the theatre. However, we absolutely hope that you text/tweet/facebook everyone you know after the performance to let them know what a great time you had here!
Can I take photos/ videos during the performance?
No- The use of flash photography or recording devices during the show is strictly forbidden by law.
What if I’m late?
If you already have your tickets, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the show. If your tickets are being held at the Box Office or you need to purchase tickets, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the show. After the performance has begun, it may not be possible to seat you in a seat. If there is an appropriate pause in the production, we will do our best to seat you in the theater in order to avoid disrupting the performance. However, please note that some productions simply will not accommodate late seating.
What fees are associated with buying tickets?
JCCT attempts to keep our ticket prices reasonable, however our ticket system charges a $2 fee. Don’t worry however we include that fee in our advertised ticket prices.
